HEALING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD

If you are struggling with your weight and your relationship with food, then I would like to help you heal. I can introduce you to the non-diet mindset and show you how to let go of the diet rules which keep you stuck. It is possible to relearn how to eat naturally and in-line with your own body’s appetite and requirements. No restriction, no binging, no off-limit food. Many of us have lost touch with the natural super intelligence of our own bodies. We learn to ignore hunger and fullness signals and have lost touch with that part of us that regulates appetite control.

Our bodies are incredible machines that constantly provide us with valuable feedback. Whether that’s hunger, pain, stress, energy levels or emotion. If we took the time to reconnect to the intelligence of our own body instead of listening to what external sources tell us we should be doing/eating, our bodies would naturally guide us to balance and health.

Diets don’t work, we all know this. We all know the mantra, eat less, move more. However, It’s not as simple as that, otherwise the multi-billion diet industry would go out of business. If you don’t address reasons behind your issues with food then nothing changes in the long term.

So many women struggle with their relationship with food. This can be a lifelong battle that consumes valuable energy and is the cause of unending misery. Many of us use food to soothe uncomfortable feelings of anxiety, stress, sadness, loneliness, guilt boredom…the list goes on. Physical hunger is often way down on the list. The problem is we then create patterns of emotional eating at an unconscious level and that is why it is so difficult to change behaviour at the conscious thinking level using logic and willpower.

Often your dysfunctional relationship with food is a symptom of something else. If physical hunger is not the problem, then food is not always the answer. I can help you uncover and satisfy the emotional hunger that lies beneath the desire to overeat or restrict.
